The only problem most people have with these speaker's is one that many other reviewers have noted: the bass is weak. The depth of the bass will change a little, depending on the surface you put the logitech speakers on. If placed on real wood table's they tend to generate a richer more purified sound - but far from awesome. Treble frequencies are cool as long as you dont' drive these Logitech speaker's too hard.

The design gives it the name portable. The bottom of the speaker becomes a cover for traveling. No other case is needed. The short audio cable plugs in very neatly into the back of the speaker's. All though the on-off switch can be toggled accidentally, there is something all travelers should know. Of course, the unit uses commonly available double A batteries. These speakers tend to hold there battery life alot longer other's. The AC adapter is separate, but considering the long battery life and cheap batteries needed, it's questionable that anyone would want to travel with the adapter.

Overall, pretty good value for the money if you can live without rich bass. Oh yeah, as a bonus, the speakers really have a neat vibration when they're powered up. Good for that much needed music thrill that most of us desire from time to time!
